Not every document can be notarised or authenticated. Notarial services are subject to the nature of the document, applicable law and the requirements of the relevant receiving authority.
Notarisation and notarization for documents used abroad
Documents intended for use outside Kenya — powers of attorney, corporate resolutions, academic and personal documents, declarations and commercial papers — frequently require notarial execution or a notarial certificate before further authentication. We advise on what the receiving authority is likely to require and attend to the notarial formalities within the scope of the Advocate's authority as a Notary Public.
